ARS [are-s] (Latin)

n. Art’, meaning: signified skilled work, art or craft activity

For centuries, art has been a consistent outlet for emotional resiliency and expression. To create takes a sense of vulnerability, patience and kindness; qualities that should be recognized and acknowledged at every level. It should come from the soul, done without hesitation or limitation. It should be explored in all forms, done in whatever way or order feels right. Art should evoke feelings, start conversation and inspire connection. all ARS encompasses exploring and creating all art without the labels or boxes. Here you’re free to explore the different collections I have to offer and take home a piece that speaks to you.

Olivia Paoluzzi

FINE ARTIST & BLOGGER

Born in Toronto, Ontario, currently living life in Burnaby, B.C, I am a passionate artist appreciating life through my creative outlets. Since childhood, I have always been powered by the freedom of creativity, specifically fine arts and literature. I’ve been told that I’m an old soul, fascinated by the simple pleasures and beauty the world has to offer. Art and writing take a level of vulnerability and kindness for me, qualities that I cannot always give myself easily. However, they’ve become a catalyst in my life for accepting and working through big emotions and difficult situations in life. Whatever medium, explored through professional lesson or self-directed teaching, art has remained a value aspect of my life. Similarly with writing, regardless the style, always at the forefront of my passions.

- WHAT’S MY METHOD -

Currently I work at the Vancouver School Board as an Educational Assistant. Later next year, I will be transitioning career paths by furthering my education in fine arts. Since childhood, I’ve explored a variety of styles and mediums that I enjoy doing/using. Currently, I focus on realism, done in ink pen using a Pointillism technique. I also do realism/hyperrealism in watercolour and oil. My subjects tend to be inspired by nature: botanicals, plants, flowers, fruits and animals; as well as, people. In my shop you can find a variety of these subjects available in prints.
